Spring and Snakes - Understanding Seasonal Snake Activity

As the weather warms up and we head into summer, snakes become more active and we may start seeing them more often around our homes and gardens. Russel Perks and !Xairu Snakes have once again shared a great article with us on snake awareness and education. 🐍🌿 Please take a moment to read the article and save the snake catcher contact numbers on your phone. If you live in the greater Swellendam area, you will have them handy should you ever need help with a snake. Remember, snakes play an important role in our natural environment. Give them space, keep a safe distance and never try to catch or handle one yourself. Thank you to Russel Perks and !Xairu Snakes for helping our community learn more about these fascinating animals! 💚
